about

about Wellington Soccer Shootout

For two decades, the Wellington Soccer Shootout has been about more than the final score. It’s the competition, the rivalries, the packed sidelines, the celebrations, and the moments players and families remember long after the final whistle.

Year after year, teams come to Wellington ready to compete. They come for great soccer, challenging matchups, and the opportunity to test themselves against teams from across Florida and beyond. But what keeps teams coming back is the experience that surrounds the game.

From the first kickoff to the championship celebrations, the Shootout brings players, coaches, families, referees, volunteers, and our community together for one incredible weekend of soccer.

Over the past 20 years, the Wellington Soccer Shootout has grown into so much more than a tournament. I’ve watched thousands of players take the field, teams come back year after year, and families make lasting memories.

What makes the Shootout special has always been the people. The players who compete, the coaches who lead, the families on the sidelines, and the referees, volunteers, staff, and community who make this weekend possible.
Reaching 20 years means a lot to me. I’m proud of what this tournament has become, but even more thankful for the people who have supported it along the way.

To every player, coach, family, referee, volunteer, and staff member who has been part of the Shootout over the last 20 years, thank you. This tournament would not be what it is today without you. I look forward to celebrating this milestone together and making many more memories in the years ahead.
